The year 2021 has never failed to mystify us and what you are about to see today will be a lot more chilling as this footage contains an extremely strange and huge spider-like creature caught on cam in the ocean waves during the Regional Wave of the Winter competition in San Diego.

Netizens were perplexed to see the footage and were more interested in the creepy object which was seen being swept by waves set to be the first in the record to happen during surfboarding competitions.

The creature is yet unidentified and it remained a mystery to this day.

What caused this creature to surface?
What is the truth about this?

On March 18, 2021, a surfing competition was held in San Diego participated with skilled surfers in the Region including Ryland Rubens who appeared to share the waves with an unknown huge sea creature.

It's a large black object with long arms and a tail.

It is disturbing to see that the object seemed to be following the surfer or just coincidentally swept by the waves in the same direction as Rylan Rubens.

Whatever the reason is, it could a frightening incident for the surfers if that object happened to be a devouring creature.

Many believed that it was a sea monster living in the depths and it surfaced because something had happened beneath the ocean seafloor.

Wild speculations about aliens surfacing in the sea will always come to the list when things like this happen.

While we are open to the possibility that it could be a mass of seaweeds being carried by the waves although the formation was really weird and what a coincidence that it happened to be swept like that during a surfing competition when the camera is rolling.

It could be a dead albatross floating and being carried by the waves.

The arm mentioned by many could be the wings of the bird and look how stiff it was when swept by the waves.

It appeared to be a dead bird with long wings.

Skeptics believed that the video was edited and the object was a CGI.

Considering the time it showed up looks like it was carefully edited to appear naturally being swept away by the waves.

What do you think happened there?
